Review on Enhance Visibility with Anzo USA 111247 Clear Headlight for Ford F-150/Bronco by Josh Maher

Nice set of headlights to match headlight assemblies, parts and accessories

So when I bought a new set of headlight housings to replace my '96 Bronco I was concerned that many of them were see through. The "Euro" was just Chinese garbage dripping or splashing on other drivers. I couldn't find any reviews for these Anzo flashlights, but I read some of the reviews for other Anzo products and they were pretty positive. These lanterns were made in Taiwan. The construction joints are sealed and it is a quality product. Installation was fairly easy, but I had some issues with the 17 year old headlight bezels, but that's not the headlights fault. If you want to use the standard surround, there's a good chance you'll strip the threaded stud closest to the radiator. I ended up taking my two apart. The bolts will rust and the plastic holding the nut will become brittle. I don't think there's a way to prevent this since you can't access the hairpin to spray it. The outer screws came loose like new. FYI, the nuts are 11mm, which I found a bit odd. I'm used to most 10mm or 12mm nuts and bolts. I'm in the process of ordering new bindings but I assembled them and they're pretty tight even with the cleat missing. Assembling was pretty easy. Try to match the adjusters to your old bulbs before putting them in so there are plenty of adjustments you can make after you're done. They have a nice tight fit. I had to press lightly on the light to push the clips back in, but I would have preferred them to be nice and tight so they wouldn't vibrate or wobble while riding. I didn't want to switch to HID because I didn't want to dazzle oncoming drivers, but these covers cast a very nice pattern. There is a clear border at the top of the drawing and with the right settings I think HIDs will work well with that. I'll stick with Philips lamps for now. They came with bulbs, but they're standard bulbs. I'll update them once I have some time and miles but for now I'm giving them 4 stars. I would give 5 stars if the Anzo USA product was actually made in the USA. I used this video to familiarize myself with the installation and it's pretty good. http://youtu.be/9k6iExEJb9II couldn't remove the reservoir or washer battery but it's pretty tight.
