Works as expected. I had a non-reel leash and got tired of struggling with an extra leash on my hands after 10 minutes in the water, so I bought this leash with a reel. It's much better just about 1.5ft rolled up, 3.5-4ft unwound. The board is easier to control as it expands and contracts as my hand moves. I unscrewed the old line and tightened it. Couldn't get it tight enough as my board had shrunk a bit from the old line but it still works fine. I can make it stronger if I really want it. I can recommend it and it's definitely worth the money!
