You get what you pay for
The dog ate the battery cover on my original remote. Bought hoping it would work with my TV or at least be able to use the cover on my standard remote. The lid didn't fit. The snap slots are reversed. The remote itself worked with my TV, but not very well. Not nearly as good as OEM. Key presses had to be properly positioned and held for the right amount of time to work. It's very frustrating to keep pressing the same button until it finally works.
