This remote control is amazing. I didn't have to program it into any of my TVs at all, I just took it out of the box and it worked! The only thing I don't like is that I couldn't find an "Enter" key to switch from different inputs. Otherwise we are very satisfied!

This remote control looks the same as the original but is lighter. After about a week of using this remote control, a short circuit occurred. I had to press a certain key multiple times for it to work. Sometimes it didn't even work and I had to smack the remote to make it work. Spend a few dollars more and get an original LG remote control.

The dog ate the battery cover on my original remote. Bought hoping it would work with my TV or at least be able to use the cover on my standard remote. The lid didn't fit. The snap slots are reversed. The remote itself worked with my TV, but not very well. Not nearly as good as OEM. Key presses had to be properly positioned and held for the right amount of time to work. It's very frustrating to keep pressing the same button until it finally works.

I didn't recommend this remote at first. The rotation renders my wired remote unusable and the LG remote only shows sports channels so this remote is completely useless and makes a total mess on the TV. I don't know how to set up this remote for my TV so I can go back to using my wired remote. As a result, this remote control causes more problems than initially without a remote control.

Although this remote control is cheap and easy to use, the power button is as annoying as ever. Our first took a couple of years, but ended up having to press the power button so hard to turn the TV on that half the time I just got up and turned it on myself. I bought a second one thinking it was time to replace it but about a month after purchase we are already having the same issue. I'll spend a little more on a new remote so I don't have to change a cheap one every few months.

Works perfect on my LG 55LJ5500 so far. I haven't tried every little command, but I have used Netflix/Hulu/TV antenna/channel up/down, power, left-right/up-down, home button, volume.
