I bought this chest for my son's room with some apprehension after reading some of the great reviews. It was a Christmas present that I hoped would stand up to a preschooler and his toys. Like all parents, I was thrilled that it arrived assembled! I love the shabby look and it's definitely durable enough for our use. All of his wooden trains fit in, and there's still room for more. The sizing is spot on but don't expect anything the size of a breast or you will be disappointed. If it didn't work for my son I would use it to store all of our throws so it should definitely be versatile and fit perfectly in a compact space. I hope this will be helpful to someone on the fence like me. I would definitely buy again.
