Jury still disagrees on filter accessories
I have a bag of this material on top of both of my biofilters in my pond. The idea is to neutralize the nitrites produced by the fish in my pond. Of course, I probably have too many fish in the pond, but I'm not going to kill a few. As koi and goldfish get bigger, their food gets bigger too. My two biofilters can handle most of this, along with a nitrite treatment. I really didn't notice any improvement with this charcoal.
