Bought these knives for my husband for Christmas. What a disappointment. Unfortunately, he's really good at grabbing all the boxes and shoving them in the trash before we can decide if we like something or should return it. I would return it if I could, but without the packaging. That's the bad thing - the knives are light and not very balanced. When you hold it in your hands, you don't get the feeling that it's a good, high-quality knife. We have several other Henckel knives that are not made in China and they are great and very durable. They look cheap. Here's what's really bad - after a few uses, they're not very sharp. Worse, they are covered in rust spots, and the blade shows places where the steel is flawed and the rust festers. We don't put them in the dishwasher or let them soak in dishwater. We, well, I hand wash and dry them and even let them air dry before putting them back in the knife block. Another thing is that paring knives are very wide, so they are not very manoeuvrable. Like I said, if I could get her back I would. save your money
