My car misfired. Coil packs are known culprits for this misfire problem. I ordered and installed this device and at first the problem seemed to be solved. Over time, the misfire problem seemed to slowly return. I finally found another problem that was actually causing the misfires. But then the "Check Engine" light came on, which wasn't there before. I've checked all the usual suspects that could be causing this issue, namely Scancode P0171, Depleted Burn. Everything was fine and the only thing left to check/replace is a new coil pack. I reinstalled an old coil pack that originally came with the car (18 years, 135,000 miles). The CEL went away and never came back, the lean burn problem went away, the engine got colder and fuel consumption increased. I suspect I have a faulty coil pack but it took so long for the fault to manifest itself that I lost my right of return so I'm stuck with a faulty coil pack which is utterly useless. In no case do I recommend this product.
