Wind Tips - Review updated

*** Redcamp support contacted me after reading this review. They apologized that the screen didn't work for me and offered a replacement or refund. They asked me for feedback on how the product could be improved so that it could be used in the conditions I described - on frozen ground. I was very pleased with their excellent customer service. I do a lot of winter hiking and wanted something to keep the wind out when I'm making soup on my small stove. This thing is a barrier that blocks the wind, so that's good. Unfortunately, it is very unstable and will be blown away by the slightest wind. Since my stove has a heavy plate, I'll lose my soup if the windshield falls off. In order for all of this to work, I have to keep my soup and windscreen on at all times while I cook, which is tricky and annoying. There are small metal poles that need to be stuck into the ground for stability, but this won't work if the ground is frozen. And I don't think they will work anymore since they are on the ends.
