I first saw some reviews that the suction cup does not stick to the window. window, flipped the suction arm around and got a snug fit. With the original mount taking care of my dash cam, I removed the entire mount and lifted it up every time I used the camera. A good pro for this mount, it has a front and rear DVR only mount so the mount stays on the window. I LOVE THIS FEATURE. Now I leave the mount up all the time and my wife can easily remove and put back the dash cam without removing the mount. So far the bracket hasn't come loose. I believe so. It is important to press the suction cup firmly against the window when installing the window mount for the first time. It certainly worked and has held up so far without falling off. I like this mount more than the one that came with my DVR.
