There are several reasons I ordered replacement wires and it solved all my problems! We recommend! - Easy to clean (no more metal splinters) - Long cord (it's better than trying to melt my thermometer every time it's that close to the hob) - Honesty (item as described and the red color actually matches the picture , red instead of ordering a red t-shirt but it was maroon/purple instead)
- High temperature probe capable of withstanding temperatures around 250°C (464°F). Constant exposure to high temperatures reduces the life of Teflon cables. Do not expose the device to direct flame like other meat probes, as this may cause the thermometer to stop working.
