Review on πŸ”ͺ Effortlessly Organize Your Kitchen with the Mercer Culinary Single Magnet BarSingle by Austin Wolf

Pretty good but not great

I'm not sure if there are magnets in both wands or if one of my wands is just much weaker than the other but it only seems like one side of the knives holds - not a problem for large knives, but some smaller knives feel a bit unreliable. But they look simple and clean and for the price I still feel like I got a good deal. Update: Well I've had this for 10 months now and recently moved so since I had it off the wall I thought I'd check it out. One of the two bars has strong magnets throughout except for the last 1/2 inch, which is what I was expecting. The other bar has almost no magnetic attraction in half of the bar and slightly weaker in the other half. Not sure if this is expected or if I got wobbly but I decided to reinstall it with that in mind. When first installed the weaker bar was on top meaning the knives sometimes fell off as I had the weaker bar on the bottom which was less of a problem. I'm downgrading my rating by one star to 3 stars. because it looks like a quality assurance issue that needed addressing and because a dropped knife gave me a nasty cut and got my blood all over my favorite apron. That said, I still like the look and for the money I haven't seen anything I like more.
