Assembly was very easy; All I had to do was connect the hose and stand up. The wheels are already installed on the bottom, and there is a small space under the device for storing the power cord. The kickstand can stand about 5 feet tall when fully extended. The stand has an integrated hose holder and space for hangers. The device warmed up relatively quickly and was ready to use in about 2 minutes. He steamed a heavily crumpled shirt easily and relatively quickly. Basically you need to attach the head of the hose to your clothing for it to work; Just keeping him around doesn't help. I know that if I used the iron on the same shirt it would take a lot longer and would definitely be more frustrating as a lot of the creases would be ironed out. The hose is quite warm to the touch, but it won't burn you or anything. Nozzles are easy to attach and detach. I haven't had a leaking hose or tank or other issues that others have complained about.
