New Balance has Fresh Foam for men, which is lighter, a bit more like a shoe and less like a CLUB FOOT. And sell it cheaper for $70. I wear Hokas and intend to use them as treadmills but they are heavier, more boxy and not as soft as the New Balance. By the way, I like the Hoka optically and they fit quite well. I prefer black uppers and black soles so this is a good looking shoe. Still, over $200 is embarrassing for a running shoe that outperforms a well-known, more affordable, and less obtrusive one.
