I've bought this brand for everything from my Fitbit to my Kindle and I've NEVER had a problem. I DESTROYED the last screen protector by dropping the phone but it worked and in fact the screen was perfectly fine. However, I had some problems with this protector. It fits my Pixel 3a, but not as well as I would like, and the screen protector doesn't extend to the edge like most screen protectors, but to the edge of the illuminated portion of the screen. It's not entirely centered on my phone either, because if it is, it's via the front camera. UPDATE: Thank goodness they come in two packs because I just destroyed the first one. I dropped it under the seat in the car and put a rough chip in the glass, but everything is fine with the screen!
