Bought this and 2 other NIMH batteries for the Yaesu FT-60R. Before charging, I checked the voltage on the elements of 7.2V, on the elements of 7.83V. I put it in the charge, the red light came on immediately. 1100mah batteries charged about 1/2 hour, green light on. The camera gets a little warm when charging, much colder than some others. The power supply and charger are great. Charge with green light for 30 minutes, so charge too. Removed the cell and waited 10 minutes to check the voltage. I was amazed that it charged up to 8.64 volts. Never got hot while charging. It is possible to purchase the second one by paying $75 for the actual Yaesu charger. In this case, be sure to align the slots in the battery with the left and right edges on the back of the charger. Then it falls straight and is also nice and tight.
