I'm a car enthusiast. I even looked at the instructions. The way it is displayed is very vague. I prefer not to read the instructions. What they don't mention is that your engine cover has to be removed before installing the new pipe, or you have to take it off to put it back on. As far as claims to power are concerned, I don't feel much. I have an exhaust system on my Rebel and the air intake in the front is almost inaudible. Also, the temperature sensor should be pressed into the rubber grommet and not snapped in place like the OEM tube. But overall it looks cool. Sounds a little cooler. Maybe it's a little faster. Hard to say. For the price, the look with the top down is unbeatable.
