I found the other reviews to be very helpful. I strongly suggest reading all of the them. The caveats that others spoke of were spot-on. My two cases came quite quickly, within 3 days in spite of the automatic notification suggesting otherwise (7-10 days or so). Unlike one reviewer's experience, mine were reasonably clean; there was nothing a paper towel and Windex couldn't handle. One thing that's perhaps not obvious is that this is not a sliding glass door arrangement. The front glass (actually acrylic) is a lid that flips up, so you need to leave wall space up above to open the front. This is a great value for the money and I'd give this case 5 stars if the locks were worth a $%#@. Fortunately, I read all of the prior reviews and knew what I was getting beforehand. 'Lockability' wasn't actually important to me. The latches themselves do function well and secure the lid, it's just the el cheapo lock mechanism that doesn't really work. On mine, I have to force the key into the slot and even when locked, it's easily 'jimmy-able' to a burglar. Nonetheless, I found these to be perfect for my particular use, so much so that I've ordered a third one. I was originally looking at cases costing three times as much. My last word of caution though is to consider that many of these positive reviews are for people whom ordered the black finish, which of course readily hides minor imperfections, dings, etc. in the wood and corner assemblies (mine are fine though). If you're considering one of the regular stained wood grain finishes, try to find and read reviews specifically for those models and look carefully at the photograph to be sure you're comfortable.
