I've been using this brush for over a year now. I use my grill at least 2-3 times a week and always clean the grates before and after grilling. Only when the grill is cold, of course. I've always used a wire brush, but those brushes have scratched my Weber grills and I've also constantly heard about the dangers they could cause. I needed something safer and more durable. At first I was skeptical. I didn't think a nylon brush would work as well as a metal brush. This brush was one of the best brushes I have ever used. You have to make sure you're using this brush on a cool surface, it even says so in the name, but some people don't seem to figure it out. I spray my grates with a non-toxic degreaser and then scrub off the dirt with a brush and the grates still look new after 3 years of use. I highly recommend this brush and I almost guarantee it will be the last brush you buy.
