I really like these collars. I bought a medium size (medium would be too big for newborn puppies. I used others when they were born). I can resize as they grow. room for growth. Now for the details: navy blue and black are almost identical so I always have to triple check them and when your pups are as playful as ever they can tighten the collars and take them off very easily. Luckily we were able to catch him fairly quickly so there was no confusion. The clip is a nice feature, but not the strongest hold. I had an extra collar so I put it on my 5 year old puddle and it had enough room for her. I took her for a walk in the park and the collar was open the whole time. Luckily my dog can walk off leash, I just took it as a precaution. Almost 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that we have to check and tighten the collar every day so that it doesn't come loose.
