Works fine for a 230lb male.

Might mark up the trim around your door if you put it up every time you use it, but that's to be expected. Best used inside a walk-in closet, imo. Very sturdy, and works great even if your trim isn't super strong.Check to see if there are used items in stock! I got mine for less than 7 bucks.

The bar is not adjustable which limits the range of motion for different sized users
