The Acer display excels in fast refresh and responsiveness, so it seems it's aimed at gamers, which I'm not. But as a display for the average person, the Acer display is plug and play, but if you want to play around with the settings you have great access to a lot of different picture and performance settings. The stand was a fine work of engineering. Read my review. -- ERGO STAND, IMPRESSIVE STAND AND ADJUSTMENTS: The stand is solidly constructed. Easy to apply and the base holds the display securely. The display can be raised and lowered 4 inches from the lowest position, from the bottom to the desktop up to 8.5 inches. I can easily adjust up or down with one hand. The stand allows you to rotate the display 90 degrees in any direction for a big screen. - MINIMUM BEZEL: The entire bezel is only about ¼" wide. You'll forget about it in a few moments. - EASY SETUP: When you turn it on, the display is in auto-sense mode, detecting that there is a signal on its HDMI input, and however, then duplicates the laptop display
