Review on LEGO Minecraft 21115 First Night by Harry Katab

Lego Minecraft The first night is fun and exciting. My 8 year old son and I were blown away during assembly. And he seems to find endless ways to play with it (especially when combined with The Cave and The Farm since we got all three at the same time). The first night is more extensive than the other two sets just mentioned and gives the feeling of a "complete package". So if you don't have any other Lego/MC sets, this option is the way to go. The sets go together beautifully. And all sets have that true "signature" Lego/MC spirit: follow instructions/make your thing/combine/rebuild etc, making them very versatile and deeply satisfying. Our next crafting kit will be The Crafting Box (already ordered) which focuses on that MOC spirit (btw: MOC = my own creation). Not sure about The Mine and The End (of course my son wants them all!) --- these are the most expensive of the current Lego/MC wave of 6 sets. Maybe we'll take another crafting box or two; Combining the three sets we have with two or three crafting box sets will instantly open up exponentially so many building possibilities that it will almost be like "real" Minecraft!
