He thought it was easy enough to put together because it...

My son loves this set. He already has a few and this one had a creeper and a pig next to Steve and he just had to have them. The assembly seemed to be quite easy for him, since it was done in almost a short time. This is a lovely little Lego Minecraft set. I am happy with the purchase. I'm even happier that it was so cheap compared to Walmart. This is a great set to add to your or your children's collection. My son is 10 just thought I'd mention it.

Playing with real life Minecraft elements is so much fun.

Bought this minecraft lego box for my daughter for her 11th birthday - she is such a fan. Playing with real life minecraft elements is so much fun - honestly the hardest part is to stay away from it. As a kid I loved Lego and enjoyed Minecraft on the computer as much as she did. This set has a nice mix of blocks that you can use grass, gravel and some sand to build with. And it's so cool to have chests that actually open and tools for Steve to use. Our next set will probably be a craft box and…

A great amalgamation of two of the world's most famous building sets

This set went to my 6 year old son who is equally in love with Minecraft and Lego. Despite the fact that it says 8+, he's been making sets in that age group for quite some time. He was able to follow the instructions from start to finish and we are both very happy with the end result. The fact that the house opens up and can be divided into parts really adds to the appeal, and the small touches inside like the bed, crafting table and wall mount for a small Minecraft axe really capture the…

High price high value for Minecraft fans want more variety and bricks

At first I wasn't interested in getting Minecraft sets (minifigure scale) from LEGO but once we saw them Person at our local shop, my kids wanted a few of these basically so they could build whatever they could think of without following the directions. This set is fantastic although I think the price is too high for what you get. However, Minecraft is popular and the Creeper is a must-have character, so that wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, the house is very small, which is logical for the…

Best Lego/Minecraft Set "If You Don't Have Any Other Sets "

Lego Minecraft The first night is fun and exciting. My 8 year old son and I were blown away during assembly. And he seems to find endless ways to play with it (especially when combined with The Cave and The Farm since we got all three at the same time). The first night is more extensive than the other two sets just mentioned and gives the feeling of a "complete package". So if you don't have any other Lego/MC sets, this option is the way to go. The sets go together beautifully. And all sets…
