Review on De'Longhi EC685M Dedica Deluxe Espresso Machine with Automatic Features, Metallic by Anthony Woolley

I bought this directly from Amazon, not through the seller, got it for a good price of $223 and so far the espresso maker itself is pretty perfect. Quick and easy and makes a great espresso. The sound makes me laugh though, it's very similar to the sound I heard in a sci-fi movie, so every time I hear it I feel like aliens are attacking. It's uncomfortable and noisy, but doesn't last too long. A lot of people will hate it for that reason, but for me it's just funny. Steamboat, on the other hand, is spirited, if not a bit obsessive at times. Worked for a day and a half and when I started it again I barely used it for 5 seconds before it stopped working. When I tried to get it working again, the steam came out so heavily that the milk splattered all over the place. Talk about a ghost in a car. I love espresso, hate the steamer, and sometimes I'm a little scared if it's going to work properly or if it's going to try to kill me by steaming. I would advise buying a separate steamer for heated milk! I give 3.5 out of 5 stars.
