Wanted this for my wife to help her scan items for her direct selling business. I've never used it, and I'm not an expert at it. As for plug and play, everything worked right away. I opened Excel, put the cursor in the box, scanned the product and the code came into the box. It wasn't fireworks, but it was cool. I was hoping for the title, price and description but no luck. Gathering was easy. Everything in one box. All you need is a screwdriver and tighten the lock nut with your finger and you're done. Pretty great design. Wand easy to remove or leave from holder and scan. The manual is key as it has all the scan codes, but for the sake of simplicity it was basic. Connect to your computer, open Excel and scan.
