Review on 🚧 KidCo GY Spindle (1 pack) Pressure Gate Install Aid by Tamara Allen

I was furious to discover that this spindle doesn't work with all gates (it says on the box but not in the product description here). The spindle is too big to fit in the gate. However, this can be bypassed. There is a rubber buffer at the point where the spindle is inserted into the gate. This bumper can be pulled out of the gate with a butter knife. Find a way to secure that bumper in a vise or something. Take a cordless drill and adjust the drill to the thickness of the Y spindle and use this drill to make the hole in the bumper wider without damaging the bumper plastic. The largest drill bit I had was exactly the size of the spindle so I had to screw the spindle into the bumper, but then I put the bumper back into the gate.
