I loved everything about this wall mount (for drywall). It's a brilliant concept that makes life so much easier. The wall I had to hang my 55 inch TV on had the stands in the wrong place, so to speak. Using a more traditional mount that requires attaching brackets to stands would result in the TV being far off center in the intended room. But this drywall mount was the perfect solution, and I'm sure of it, even if I live in "earthquake scare". Assembly and installation was easy thanks to the excellent (and humorous) instructions that made me smile. A video is also available. This is a company with PERSONALITY and they don't mind showing it. The parts were sturdy, well made and of the highest quality despite the very competitive price. You don't need to be a handyman or do-it-yourselfer to complete the installation. If you can drive nails and read a spirit level (BUILT INTO the track) you can attach them to your wall in minutes. Please note that it is recommended that someone help lift the TV onto the bracket and I agree. It can be done alone, but there's no point in taking risks unless you're strong enough, not limited in height, and have long reach.The principle of operation of this wall mount is simple physics - the angle of the nails into which It is hammered into the wall and the angle of the bracket balances the weight of the TV.By the way, there are also fittings for fixing to wood or cement.We really have thought of everything.
