OEM O2 Oxygen Sensor

I replaced the upstream oxygen sensor on my 2001 Chevy Prizm (similar to a Toyota Corolla) with two Bosch sensors. The first broke after a few days. The second failed within a few weeks. I drove with the check engine light on for several months. That was a mistake, because probably my new catalytic converter had also failed. When I had to inspect my car, the mechanic replaced the same Bosch sensor, but I don't know what brand he used. This sensor also failed again within a short time. Finally, after all this agony and expense, I found a Denso sensor. I looked at the reviews and found that this is an OEM brand O2 sensor for my car. Nine months later, so far so good. During this time the check engine light came on several times but ultimately it was not related to the upper O2 sensor! I want to get a Denso sensor for the first time. I would save a lot of money on the repair.
