If you throw away recyclables in my town, you need a black-backed trash can that's attached to the tank. You will not take the black bag. I realized I needed to make a bungee cord of the exact size. The pre-made cables just didn't fit. To solve this problem I bought a roll of elastic and these hook ends. I cut the elastic cord and thread each end through one of these plastic hooks. It was easy and the hook grabbed the line and held it perfectly. By the way, here's a little tip I got from a hook and line manufacturer. After you cut the bungee cord, light each end with a flame to melt the ends so the cord never unravels. A great idea. I've done this several times and it works great.
