Very simple and affordable but very light. As such, it can easily be torn apart with the included flimsy detachable legs. Assuming you can put it in a place where it won't tip over when hit, it's surprisingly good for the price. The projector can be turned on and off independently from the master clock face. It has a manual focus, so the numbers on the wall or ceiling are clearly legible. You can also rotate the projection 180 degrees so it reads vertically no matter which way you point it. The dial had large, easy-to-read digits and could be dimmed very low, making it readable even in the dark, but not disturbing sleep at night. And there is also a 9V battery backup. I actually only got it for a temporary projector, but was surprised at how well the other features worked. It's very light and fragile, so if you tend to snooze the alarm or aggressively hit the snooze button. don't let it suit you
