Failed twice, good for knitting and crocheting
The first unit I worked except that it was extremely inaccurate. I bought a 50 gram ball of Lindy Chain yarn that I wrapped 180 yards. The device reported over 600 meters. I returned it and ordered a new one. The replacement was fully functional. The counter did not advance and the stop lever was not fully raised. I'm disappointed.
