gas station problem in my suburb 05 fixed immediately. My suburb required about 20 cents of gas before it closed. I ended up trying to go the cheap route first and replace the evaporative solenoid and then the EVAP part in the engine before the intake manifold. I figured the first part would fix it when it didn't. I bought the second part when it didn't work, in the end I just had to replace the whole activated carbon filter and solved my problem immediately. I would start with that and then go from there, but the other two parts are under $20 each. If you're replacing the canister, you can also replace the EVAP evaporative solenoid right next to it while you're down there. All three parts cost about $150 online and took about an hour and a half to install separately. I could probably save about 30 minutes by swapping out the canister and the vent solenoid attached to it at the same time. I noticed that my car started faster after that. I'm not sure how it correlates, but it does. A word of caution: if the automatic pump stops, IT'S FULL! Don't squeeze out another 50 cents and ruin $150-$200 parts. Theft of these works would cost 500-700 dollars.
