Fixed gas nozzle shut off issue

* Gas shut off issue fixed * My '04 Avalanche had problems with gas nozzle shut offs while refueling countless times. I was hesitant to purchase this part due to the price and the fact that I wasn't sure if it would fix the problem or not. Well it solved my problems and I've never been happier. If you have similar problems and want to get rid of annoying nozzle maintenance headache, BUY IT NOW! You will not be disappointed. I should have bought this earlier. Save money for $20 parts that claim…

Evaporator Success at Replacement Parts

This was the last of 3 parts I replaced to fix this horrible problem with my 04 gmc yukon's evaporator system. Bought a used SUV and a few days later code P0446 popped up. When filling up, I would have a hard time putting in more than a few gallons before the pump kicked in. Then after refueling, when starting the engine, there was a hard/rough start and idle. I replaced the breather solenoid on the engine to fix the rough start after refueling and replaced the vapor filter and breather…

The problem of refueling SUVs and Chevy trucks is solved!

I had the same problem as many of you with refueling my Chevy Avy. This seems to be a common problem with SUVs and Chevy trucks. As your EVAP vapor canister decomposes, it releases charcoal pellets that are sucked throughout the EVAP system. This is the main reason why you cannot fill up your car with gasoline at a gas station. I replaced all three components of the EVAP system with: ACDelco 22963841 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister (causes the refill problem) ACDelco 23481275 GM Original…

Gas station shutdown problem in suburb 05

gas station problem in my suburb 05 fixed immediately. My suburb required about 20 cents of gas before it closed. I ended up trying to go the cheap route first and replace the evaporative solenoid and then the EVAP part in the engine before the intake manifold. I figured the first part would fix it when it didn't. I bought the second part when it didn't work, in the end I just had to replace the whole activated carbon filter and solved my problem immediately. I would start with that and then go

No more 30 minute refills for Noonan

I bought a 2005 Cadillac Escalade ESV (6.0 LQ9 engine) with about 150,000 miles on the odometer. The previous owner apparently "topped up" the tank because I had problems filling up from day one. After searching, I found that refilling was sending fuel into the vapor canister, destroying the membrane that kept the charcoal inside, causing the charcoal pellets to fill all the emission lines and causing a refueling problem. Since I was replacing it, I went ahead and replaced two more emission…
