The problem of refueling SUVs and Chevy trucks is solved!

I had the same problem as many of you with refueling my Chevy Avy. This seems to be a common problem with SUVs and Chevy trucks. As your EVAP vapor canister decomposes, it releases charcoal pellets that are sucked throughout the EVAP system. This is the main reason why you cannot fill up your car with gasoline at a gas station. I replaced all three components of the EVAP system with: ACDelco 22963841 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister (causes the refill problem) ACDelco 23481275 GM Original Equipment Vapor Canister Venture Valve (replaced but no pellets) ACDelco 214-1680 GM Original Equipment Purge Valve Vapor Canister (Yes, this guy had pellets inside) ACDelco 19257603 Original GM Equipment Vapor Canister Vent Valve Solenoid Jumper Harness (PART WAS NOT NEEDED/RETURNED, my Avy is factory wired to the male part of the new vent valve) If possible, vacuum component hoses before you install new parts. I did this and was amazed at how many pellets made it into the lines. In the end, my tanking problem is solved and the Avy actually performs better, switching between V-8 and V-4 modes with ease.
