This was the last of 3 parts I replaced to fix this horrible problem with my 04 gmc yukon's evaporator system. Bought a used SUV and a few days later code P0446 popped up. When filling up, I would have a hard time putting in more than a few gallons before the pump kicked in. Then after refueling, when starting the engine, there was a hard/rough start and idle. I replaced the breather solenoid on the engine to fix the rough start after refueling and replaced the vapor filter and breather solenoid to fix the slow fuel fill problem under 150.00 piece by piece and save 30 minutes of your time you a little fortune at the dealer. It seems that when the tank is overfilled, the fuel spills into this canister of charcoal fumes, wreaking havoc on the vaporizer.
