I have a terrible cheat sheet/wind blower. This product applied to his hair and caused terrible pressure on the forehead/pole area. He became shy and looked unhappy. Due to the severe hair loss and awkward appearance I felt it was tight enough but he worked his way through and ended up colic and requiring immediate life saving surgery. He was diagnosed with Foreman's omental seizures, colic that tends to scratch. 4 feet of intestines were removed. It survived, but we strongly do not recommend this product. It might work to prevent biting if pulled incredibly tight, but it didn't work on my horse and it was rubbing him almost to the point of bleeding. Using the dare collar, much easier to put on now, seems much more humane just having a thick strap around the neck and actually prevents it from sucking wind. It's only $20 more, I would highly recommend just getting Dare.
