2002 Chevrolet Suburban lt Let me start by saying this was a great upgrade from a factory sub my suburb had! A modification had to be made as it didn't fit directly, it had to be moved half an inch apart so I used a ring from my standard subwoofer with a dust screen covering the speaker and used that as a spacer and installed it. I recommend connecting the two sides of the subwoofer connector, negative to negative and positive to positive, that's 4 to 2 ohms since my factory suburban sub was 2 ohms. This factory accessory ring matched its placement perfectly. I reinstalled and removed all the panels and noticed that the new subwoofer barely touched the panel grille so I decided to cut the panel grille perfectly and installed a 10" sub grille on top of the panel for an aesthetic look. It works great, sounds amazing for an 8 inch subwoofer and is changing the world!
