Planet Audio AC10D Voice Subwoofer Review

Okay, let's recap.......1500w dual 4 ohm woofer connected to 2 ohms. 750W RMS. Kenwood KAC 5001PS monoblock amplifier 1000 W, 300 W RMS into 4 ohms, 500 W RMS into 2 ohms. The gain level is about 3/4 (75%) with less than 10% THD. The volume of the head unit is 26 (approx. 60%) AND the woofer IN approx. SOLD OUT IN 10 MINUTES. Although it looked good. What can you expect from a woofer under $30? Sometimes it's worth spending the extra cash if you have it.

I bought two Planet Audio 10's for my truck, I had Kicker systems, Rockford, Memphis and thought I'd try Planet Audio I wasn't expect them to sound like they do. a set of eights and tweets in 6 x 9 format. I would use them with any speaker brand. Good product.

I bought this subwoofer for my 2002 Chevy Tahoe with non-Bose system. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it actually fits without modifying the factory box. You have to drill new screw holes, but the basket fits in the hole and the magnet doesn't reach the bottom in the small case. So I'll start off by saying I have a Rockford Fosgate 800a2 amp that's about $350 and a $35 -Woofer drives, and yes, it beats like a steel drum.
