If you're like me and you have kids, you have a lot of laundry to do. My 3 year old has eczema and sometimes we can't use anything with a scent because it flares up and then we just don't like certain scents because they are too strong. Our dryer is very old and takes about 30 minutes to dry a medium load. We probably won't be able to save drying time. I love that these balls transform comforters better than nothing in the dryer, and it helps dry the entire comforter, not just the center section, leaving corners wet. The balls are quite large and seem hard. I haven't noticed any pieces coming off the balls and sticking to the underwear, but we don't have a lot of light colored clothes, mostly dark ones. per year (a ball in the dryer if my son or cats don't get them). I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to dryer sheets. It's great to have!
