I bought these because my new truck with large diameter tires just rolled over my smaller chocks on an 18% incline. But these smaller pads came "earlier" because they followed the flex of the tire. Many complain about their smell, but that doesn't keep the truck up the hill! Judging by the weight and the material, they don't seem to climb small inclines that quickly.
