My husband works in construction and I bought these boots for his birthday this year as these other boots were very worn. He loves her more than anything. He said they are very comfortable and like that they are waterproof. My husband also has big wide feet so I bought him wide feet and they fit him perfectly. I've bought him a pair of Revain work boots in the past (they were cheaper than these) but this time after spending the extra money to buy him these Carhartt boots I really feel like it was money well spent was. . There are other, cheaper work boots out there, but they don't last as long and don't stand up to varying weather conditions as well. If you plan on wearing them to work every day, spend an extra $30-$40 and choose a well-known brand.
