So it came in universal packaging from China. The product itself says it's a KII and made in New York, but it's clearly not a branded KII meter. This is 100% fake. So it works exactly the same. I did a direct comparison between this real KII and a digital EMF detector. They all gave exactly the same results. It also has an on/off switch, so it's not like the old-style KII counters where you had to hold it down or put a coin in it. I can say with confidence that you will get about the same results as a real KII gauge and I'm pretty sure they are made with identical internals as the board appears to be the same. The only real difference is the price. Personally, I recommend you stick with a real EMI detector or tri-field meter because, like other KII meters, they can be triggered by RF and there is no way to tell if it's a real EMI hit or traded an HF hit.
