This light has some nice features that most other bike taillights don't have. It's rechargeable, but the fact that it turns itself off is a good thing. The fact that it includes a built-in motion alert is excellent. The USB charging port is recessed with a rubber cover, but even for the included USB cable, the cutout is almost too small, and none of my many other USB micro cables can be used. until I cut the micro connector out of the insulating plastic to fit the recess. The charging cable that comes with it is so short that the light has to be removed from the bike to charge, which is why I wanted to use a longer USB cable. leads to only two mounting options. I had to use a seatpost mount and it suggests that the seatpost diameter is much smaller than my bike. and complicates the removal and installation of the lamp. It would be nice to offer better seatpost options. Having said that, I tried 5 different taillights and this one was the winner. The "pairing” instructions in the included guide are easy to misunderstand, so repeating the instructions may help. To connect up to three additional remote controls, make sure the alarm is NOT active. <Press and hold> the function button on the light/alarm box (not the remote control) for 3 seconds. The light/alarm should emit a single "DI" signal. Each button on the remote control. The light signal/alarm must emit several "DI-DI" signals. The remote control is then "paired". To "DISCONNECT” the remote control. should give a long sound "DI"
