Scotch 371 is rated (untested) as the most popular packing tape in the country. My wife and I have worked with different ribbons and we can honestly say that this 3850 ribbon is fantastic. Before trying this band, most will find that 371 (or generic versions equivalent to 371) seems appropriate. However, once you've tried this band, you'll probably be spoiled and won't want to go back to anything else. It's much stronger and easier to work with. Less accidental tearing, less twisting, and you can find your packaging is more secure (great for peace of mind when shipping something heavy or expensive). I know it's a bit more expensive than the 371 (or similar), but the difference is in the day versus night quality. My wife does most of our business transportation and I think if we go back to using 371 tape to save a few bucks she might divorce me. Try 3850 Band!
