Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well but there is a nuance

Ok what do I use the bag for, it works well. That being said, I tested the product in extreme conditions to see how waterproof it actually is. I put some dry towels in a bag and rolled/sealed them and then soaked them under the water in the tub for 5 minutes. During this test I noticed air bubbles coming out of the seam so after 5 minutes I took out the bag, opened it up and voila, the towels were dry. As I said, using the bag for underwater testing was extreme because I would not use it in any situation where that would happen. However, if air can escape, it means water can get in. Therefore, persons using this product in mass water activities should be aware that if this product is submerged under water for an extended period of time, the items contained therein may become wet. At least longer than 5 minutes. I have now tested a smaller electronics bag for 10 minutes underwater and to be honest I didn't use any electronic devices but replaced this with a piece of paper towel which proved to be an ideal testing medium as they are highly absorbent materials and can provide detection. no leaks at all. After 10 minutes of drum roll please, voila, bone dry, even without air bubbles. That being said, if you have some fabric items and they get wet it's annoying and uncomfortable, but you can hang them up and they'll dry. However, if you have an electronic device and it gets wet it can result in a very expensive replacement that is not as easy to hang out to dry. If I could give 4.5 stars I would give this product a little more attention but c'est la vie.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Negative impression
