Review on INA446 Surf-Wind-Long Board Locking Roof Carrier with Pads - Securely Holds (1) Kayak, (1) Canoe, or (2) SUP/Wind/Surf-Boards by Fisseha Rodgers

I am currently using it on a Thule Rapid Bar system and I really like this item. will not be sent again. This device has an overall user-friendly design. I never read the instructions, but I found everything to be quite easy - loosen, snap in, etc. One thing one person has complained about is that one side of the locking mechanism doesn't engage. After my paddleboard was properly secured, I tried to open the unlocked side and couldn't open the valve that closes/locks the quick release. It seems that when the security wires are taut, the lock on the other side activates, making it impossible to open. I've tried with and without tension and the result has been consistent. It's not 100% anti-theft, but honest people stay honest. If someone had pliers they could probably loosen the mounting nuts, but that would take time and isolation. This counter makes me feel safe going out for lunch and not worrying. **Disclaimer: I've only used it 3 times at the time of writing this review. will be updated after use
