I bought the E40 single camera a few months ago and am happy with it except the battery only lasted 2 weeks in a low traffic area. Instead of adding a solar panel, I decided to wait for the S40 to appear. I've only had the S40 for a few days, but the solar panel keeps the battery level steady despite sub-optimal camera placement (direct sunlight only hits in the morning). The camera reacts to movements (people, dogs, cars, deer) day and night. Alerts arrive within a few seconds of movement, and overall the app is responsive. An integrated solar panel is good for the aesthetics and makes it less obtrusive. While recommended! Edit: FWIW I use Unifi hotspots and haven't experienced any of the dropout issues that other users have reported, but be careful with the buyer.
