I live in the country and as a biologist, I enjoy observing at night. I especially want to try to avoid things like frogs, toads, snakes, etc. when driving at night. This light bar really hits the mark. I just installed it and only used it once, but it's very bright compared to my headlights alone. The panel is easy to install, I used a Hella brand harness and disassembled the light enough to seal the front lens with silicone sealant as other users have recommended. I hope this will help reduce the chances of condensation and water ingress. The device is fully sealed, but the fit and finish didn't suggest the lens would be waterproof at all. Luckily, the LEDs themselves are waterproof, so any ingress of water or condensation should only be cosmetic, but will affect light distribution and performance. The poor sealing on the sides of the lens is why I gave it four stars instead of five. Also, the FM stereo quality will be degraded when this indicator is lit. Durability is TBD but if it fails too soon I'll update my review.
