Review on Pirelli Ice Zero FR 255/45 R20 105H winter by Wiktor Popiel ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Did not find any pluses with the product, I don't recommend it.

From the pros, its undeniable silence stands out; it's out of competition here; but in terms of grip, I'm not sure where the praise from. On dry asphalt, it acts normally, but if it rolls on frost or—heaven forbid—ice, it becomes a completely different animal. Turn out the lights, please. Car was torn off numerous times in turns at speeds above 60 mph; once when it hit the curb on ice under the snow, disk hit well but left no trace on the tire; good strength. It decelerates sluggishly, the anti-lock brakes (ABS) frequently function, it launches at a traffic light with axle box, and I previously drove a kumho, so they must have maintained it better. True, it starts to cling a little bit when the temperature drops below 15 degrees Fahrenheit, but not a lot. It would have been better to save the extra 1500 and take hack 8 instead. Year of Production: 2022. 205/55 R16 is the size. Drivetrain with the front wheels only.

Pros
  • Quiet
Cons
  • Properties of coupling
